DICK’s Sporting Goods Foundation awards $25k grant for batting cages at Lion’s Town & Country Park

Established in 2011, The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation (Foundation) is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and enable sports participation for all. The City’s Parks & Community Services Department submitted a request under the Foundation’s “Sports Matter” program seeking funding to install batting cages next to ball field 1 at Lions Town & Country Park. The Foundation awarded a total of $25,000 for the project allowing it to move forward. The Parks Department expects to begin construction on the project soon. #MaderaProud
