Managing your utility service just got easier!

 

The City is pleased to announce the completion of a major upgrade to our utility billing system. To access the new system customers will need to register an account using the City’s new Citizen Self Service (CSS) portal. Registration will require both your account, and newly assigned customer ID numbers. This information is printed on billing statements beginning September 2020.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the City is waiving all late penalties on utility service until further notice.

 

If paying online isn’t for you, please consider the following alternative payment options:

 

  • Payment by automated phone system: (877) 360-3479**
    (requires account and customer ID numbers)
    **$3.50 convenience fee per transaction. Individual transactions cannot exceed $500.

 

  • Payment by mail: Checks can be sent to the City’s Utility Billing Department: 205 W 4th Street, Madera, CA 93637

 

  • Payment by ACH (Autopay): Pay your bill with automatic withdrawal from your bank account. To setup ACH for your utility account, start here by completing our ACH application. Please note we require you submit a voided check with your application. Applications can be mailed to the City’s Utility Billing Department at 205 W 4th St. Madera CA. 93637.

 

  • Payment by drop box:
    • City Hall – 205 W 4th Street, Madera, CA 93637
      • Eastside front entrance (Finance Department entry)
      • Drive thru (rear parking lot)
    • Fire station # 6 – 317 N. Lake Street, Madera, CA 93637
