To access the City’s online payment system, customers will need to register an account using the City’s new Citizen Self Service (CSS) portal. Registration requires both your account and customer ID numbers from your billing statement.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the City is waiving all late utility service penalties until further notice.

 

If paying online isn’t for you, please consider the following alternative payment options:

 

  • Payment by automated phone system: (877) 360-3479**
    (requires account and customer ID numbers)
    **$3.50 convenience fee per transaction. Individual transactions cannot exceed $500.

 

  • Payment by mail: Checks can be sent to the City’s Utility Billing Department: 205 W 4th Street, Madera, CA 93637

 

  • Payment by ACH (Autopay): Pay your bill with an automatic withdrawal from your bank account. To set up ACH for your utility account, start here by completing our ACH application. Please note we require you to submit a voided check with your application. Applications can be mailed to the City’s Utility Billing Department at 205 W 4th St. Madera CA. 93637.
