Superhero-themed dance event planned for those with special needs

A superhero-themed dance for children with special needs is planned for July 14th in Madera.
Calling all superheroes! Co-hosted by Madera Special Needs Sports & Recreation (MSNSR) and the City of Madera Parks & Community Services Department, the free all-inclusive “5th Annual Super Hero Dance” is being put on by the two groups as a way to provide engaging inclusive opportunities for everyone in the community.

“We’ve had families make it an annual tradition to come out and dance the night away,” said Fernando Santoyo, President of MSNSR. “Parents are thankful we have an event where their children, regardless of age and ability can participate.”
The event is all-ages, and Santoyo says ALL children and families are welcomed. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero (or supervillain) to join in on an evening of fun and games.
