Fireworks Permit Application Process
Completed applications and all required supporting documentation must be submitted in PDF format via email to buildingpermits@madera.gov.
Submission Period
- Start: May 1, 9:00 a.m. (current year)
- Deadline: June 12, 5:00 p.m. (current year)
Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted or issued a Temporary Permit to Sell “Safe and Sane” fireworks.
Lottery Eligibility
Eligible organizations must submit completed applications and all required documentation within the submission period to be included in the permit lottery list.
If additional permits become available, organizations on the lottery list will be selected by random drawing conducted by the Chief Building Official or designee on June 19 (current year).
