Our Building Division performs field inspections on all permits issued to verify compliance with the approved plans, and ensures all new construction in City of Madera is in accordance with the most current codes and that all existing structures are maintained in a safe condition.

To request your inspections, you can call our Inspection Request Line (559) 661-5445 the day before you need your inspection:

Requests for Building Inspections made before 4:00pm, will be scheduled for the following business day.  Any requests received after 4:00pm will be scheduled for the 2nd day following the call.

Please have ready your name, phone number, email address, site address, permit number, type of inspection and your preference of an A.M. or P.M. inspection time. Although you may request an A.M. or P.M. inspection, there is no guarantee that you will receive an inspection during that time, but our inspectors will do their best to meet your needs.
