Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)

The City of Madera’s 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) serves as a roadmap for planning and funding major infrastructure projects across the community. Updated each year, the plan outlines key investments in roads, bridges, traffic signals, streetlights, water and sewer systems, storm drainage, and public facilities.

Administered by the Engineering Department, the CIP ensures that funding is allocated responsibly to maintain essential services, improve safety, and support long-term growth. Many projects are made possible through a mix of local revenues and state or federal grants, helping the City stretch resources and deliver maximum value to residents.

The CIP provides a transparent overview of upcoming projects and long-range infrastructure priorities for the City of Madera.
