New traffic signal activated at Olive and Knox
A new traffic signal is now up and running at Olive Avenue and Knox Street, bringing added safety and improved traffic flow to one of the city’s busy intersections.
The signal, which went live today, is designed to better manage vehicle movement while also creating safer conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. City officials say the change will help reduce congestion and improve circulation in the area.
Drivers are advised to approach the intersection with caution as the community adjusts to the new traffic pattern.
The project is part of Madera’s ongoing effort to improve roadway safety and modernize infrastructure across the city.
